Banana Orange Tea Smoothie


*1 C boiling Water
*4 Green Tea Bags with Mandarin Orange Flavor
*1/2 tsp. sugar substitute (may use sugar)
*1 ripe banana
*1/2 C ice cubes

*optional: orange slices to garnish glass of tea


1. Put the tea bags into the boiling water and allow the tea to steep for 2 minutes.
2. Remove the bags being sure to let all tea remaining drip out.
3. Stir the sugar substitute into the tea until dissolved.
4. Cover the tea and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
5. Once chilled pour into the blender.
6. Place the banana into the blender and add the ice cubes. Puree until creamy.
