* 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
* 1 small onion, diced
* 4 oz American cheese, cubed
* 1/2 of a 4 oz can chopped green chiles, drained
* 1/4 cup beer
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
* 1 small tomato, chopped
* tortilla chips
1. Saute onion in hot oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cook until very lightly browned, stirring occasionally.
2. Stir in everything else except tomato and chips. Cook, stirring frequently, until cheese is melted. Add tomato and then serve with chips.
