Classic Tomato Salsa


* 3 large tomatoes, seeded and diced
* 1 large sweet onion, finely chopped
* 3 jalapeno peppers, seeded and chopped
* 2 garlic cloves, minced
* 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
* 3 tablespoons dried cilantro


1. Place all ingredients in large glass bowl and stir to mix well.
2. Cover bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate at least 8 hours before serving.
3. Serve with warm tortilla chips, over scrambled eggs, or any way you love salsa.


I'm used this salsa as a dip with warm tortilla chips, as a topping for tacos, and added on top of scrambled eggs. I've also put a spoonful on top of grilled fish and even on a green salad. Anywhere you want a really fresh taste, tomato salsa is an excellent choice.
