* 3 lb chuck roast - cubed into 1" pieces
* 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil (any cooking oil will work)
* 2 (10 3/4 oz each) cans golden cream of mushroom soup
* 1 envelope dry onion soup mix
* 1 cup cooking sherry
1. Pour oil into large skillet over medium heat.
2. Brown meat in oil. Drain well.
3. Put meat in crock pot.
4. Stir in mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and sherry.
5. Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours.
This roast is really good served with hot egg noodles.
