Fitness Friendly Grilled Flank Steak


* 2 lbs flank steak
* 1/4 c red wine vinegar
* 1 T Worcestershire sauce
* 1 T soy sauce
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 2 T onion, diced
* 1/4 c vegetable oil
* 1/4 c lemon juice
* 1/4 t black pepper
* 1/8 t salt


1. Combine steak and all other ingredients into a gallon sized resealable plastic bag and shake gently to coat steak.
2. Refrigerate for 8 hours.
3. Grill steak over medium heat for 6 minutes per side.
4. Remove and let sit 3 minutes on cutting board.
5. Cut thin strips on bias and serve on top of a mixed green salad.


This is a perfect meal if you are watching your diet. There is so much flavor in the flank steak that you won't need to add dressing to the greens. Just lay several pieces of grilled flank steak on top of a nice arrangement of mixed greens and enjoy! If you want a little crunch, chop up some walnuts or sprinkle with sunflower seeds.
