1. Drizzle the olive oil into a very large bowl (one with a cover)and spread evenly all over the inside of the bowl. Now, put oyster crackers in, cover the bowl, and toss until the crackers are well coated with oil.
2. Add seasonings, then shake vigorously to coat the crackers with seasonings.
3. Store in an airtight container.
4. You can eat these as a snack or add them to soups and salads.
This is such an easy snack to make, you would never believe it would taste so good. Oyster crackers are the perfect vehicle for all this flavor. They are light, crunchy, and have no real flavor of their own. Kids love the size and shape of them.
These are the perfect snack for holidays, game day, or anytime you want to offer something to nibble on that's NOT filled with sugar, fat, and ingredients you can't pronounce!
Of course, you can tweak the herbs a bit. What I like is to use smoky paprika so you have that "barbecue" flavor. Try it, you'll like it. Enjoy!
