Honey Drenched Mixed Fruit Chicken - Crock Pot


* 8 chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
* 1/2 tsp ginger
* 1/2 tsp salt
* 1/4 tsp pepper
* 1 C mixed dried fruit
* 1/2 C honey
* 1/3 C chicken broth
* 1 medium onion, diced


1. Sprinkle the chicken thighs with the ginger, salt and pepper.
2. Place the chicken into the bottom of the crock pot.
3. Spread the dried fruit evenly over the chicken.
4. Pour the honey over the top of the dried fruit.
5. Add the chicken broth over the honey.
6. Evenly sprinkle in the onion.
7. Cook covered on low for 8 hours.


You can use either chicken breasts or thighs in this recipe, but I like the cost savings when using the thighs.

Feeding a family of youngsters often poses a challenge when trying to give them a variety of choices. This dish is a meal that is different enough to peak your youngster's interest, while maintaining some good nutritional value. Enjoy!
