Hot Dog Spaghetti |

Ingredients
|
* 1 lb hot dogs, cut into 1" pieces
* 1/2 cup chopped onion
* 3/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
* 2 tablespoons butter
* 16 oz can tomato sauce
* 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
* 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
* Hot cooked spaghetti noodles

Directions

1. In large skillet, cook hot dogs, onions and green pepper in hot butter until onions and green pepper are softened.
2. Add tomato sauce, chili powder and cumin.
3. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Serve over hot noodles.

Planning on making spaghetti for the kids tonight? If your kids are sort of 'luke warm' about your good beef sauce for spaghetti, why not give them what they really want? Hot dogs seem to go over pretty well in our house, so it's understandable why this hot dog spaghetti sauce would be a winner.
I buy the turkey hot dogs so the meal ends up a bit more nutritious. The hot dogs still have the same great taste, so we're all happy.
