Peachy Banana Wheat Germ Smoothie


* 1 ripe banana
* 1 cup vanilla low-fat yogurt
* 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
* 1 cup sliced fresh peaches
* 1/4 cup wheat germ
* 1 cup cracked ice (optional)


1. Break up banana and put in blender with yogurt, orange juice, peaches, and wheat germ.
2. Blend on high until frothy. Add cracked ice or shaved ice if desired at this time and blend again.
3. Serve immediately.
4. Optional - drizzle in a little honey to sweeten


Wheat germ is a powerhouse of nutrition - the perfect thing to add to your morning smoothie. Of course, you can make this smoothie any time you need a quick pick-up in the middle of the day.

If you've never made a smoothie with bananas and peaches, you are in for a treat. There is definitely a nice flavor combination between the two. Enjoy!
