Pineapple Butterscotch & Apple Crunch Dessert |
Ingredients

* 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple with juice
* 1 (4 oz.) box instant butterscotch pudding
* 1 C dry roasted peanuts, chopped slightly
* 1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping, thawed
* 2 Red Delicious apples, cored and chopped

Directions

1. Pour the pineapple with the juice into a mixing bowl.
2. Stir in the pudding mix powder until completely combined.
3. Fold in the nuts.
4. Mix from the bottom up and incorporate the whip topping into the mixture.
5. Add the apples and stir until well combined.
6. Cover tightly and chill at least 1 hour before serving.

You might consider this a fruit salad, but it makes a wonderful dessert, too. Swap the peanuts for pecans if you like and serve in pretty dessert bowls for a special holiday meal or other special occasion. It's very pretty and yummy!
