Smoked Turkey Legs & Navy Beans - Crock Pot


* 6 smoked turkey legs
* 2 cans (16 oz each) navy beans, drained
* 1 envelope dry herb and garlic soup mix


1. Combine beans and soup mix in crock pot.
2. Put turkey legs in crock pot and mix gently to coat turkey legs with bean mixture.
3. Cook, covered, on low for 7-8 hours.


Smoked turkey legs have been a part of my family's history for a long time. For picnics or just for snacking, they are yummy. This is the first time I've tried them in a bean dish, but why not, right? Smoked meat and beans are a natural, and this dish combines the flavors very well indeed.
