Sweet 'n' Tart Smoothie


* 1/2 C pineapple juice
* 1/4 C grapefruit juice
* 4 strawberries, stemmed and cut into pieces
* 1 banana, peeled and cut into pieces


1. Pour the pineapple juice and grapefruit juice into the blender.
2. Give the blender a swirl or two in order to combine the juices.
3. Add in the strawberries and banana pieces.
4. Blend the mixture until smooth but still slightly thick.


Not all smoothies are created equal. Some are quite a bit sweeter than others. If you like a little pucker-up power to your smoothies, this recipe is a good choice to give a try. Use pink grapefruit juice for a little more sweetness, and regular old grapefruit juice for maximum lip-pucker-power.
