Tender Hawaiian Baked Pork Chops |
Ingredients

* 4 lean pork loin chops
* 1 (8 oz.) can pineapple slices, unsweetened reserve juice
* 2 TBSP brown sugar
* 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg

Directions

1. Place 3 TBSP of the reserved pineapple juice into a measuring cup.
2. Add the brown sugar and nutmeg.
3. Stir until the brown sugar is completely dissolved.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
5. Spray a baking dish with a non stick cooking spray.
6. Place just enough of the juice mixture in the bottom of the pan to cover.
7. Add the pork chops.
8. Pour 1/2 of the remaining juice over the pork chops.
9. Layer the pineapple slices on top.
10. Pour the rest of the juice over the top.
11. Cover tightly with aluminum foil.
12. Bake 25 minutes.
13. Remove aluminum foil and bake 30 minutes, basting a couple of times during cooking.
14. Chops should be cooked through and fork tender when done.
